Roundhouse Theatre
In 2006 SSL designed and manufactured probably one of the most complicated layouts to suit the Roundhouse Theatre in Kilburn, London. The recently renovated round building, which was originally a railway shed with turntable, presented a number of challenges for SSL, not least of all because the “In the Round” building has 22 internal columns.
The dual rise system provides flexible demountable layouts for the balcony, mezzanine and stalls area and in conjunction with “Steeldeck”, has provided the Roundhouse with a superb 2000 seat “ITR” Auditorium.
