Rockingham Motor Speedway established the first banked motorsports stadium in the UK, at Corby Northants. Four Grandstands are based on structural steel frames with aluminum top deck bleacher seats and vomitory stairways to meet the sight-line demands of high speed motorsports. A total of 44,000 seats designed, manufactured and installed by SSL on a turnkey basis, "a safe efficient system, great appearance to suit an oval track".
